PURPOSE
To be proactive in supporting new and existing business
in the Mittagong region as well as support economic development
and business growth providing it meets environmental and
statutory federal, state and local government requirements.
OBJECTIVES
To endeavour to encourage business people and like minded
associations to work for the benefit of employers, employees
and the community throughout the Mittagong region.
To represent the business interests of members by providing
a unified voice on issues that concern the business community
and the general community of the Mittagong region.
To work in a co-operative manner for the benefit off all
members by providing a forum for members to express ideas
and options.
To access reliable information on issues relevant to local
business throughout the Mittagong region.
To make publicly known, comments on issues relevant to
members and businesses throughout the Southern Highlands.
To work closely with Tourism Southern Highlands, the vignerons
and accommodation associations and various other industry
in the region to help grow business, improve employment
opportunities and improve members profitability.
To take special opportunities to give back to the community
that supports our businesses |
